Glitch
Android App against Autopilot Phone Habits
Glitch the autopilot: your apps in a new random order, so you look before you tap.
- Zero permissions
- No network, no tracking
Built withKotlinJetpack ComposeAndroid
Private project: I see real potential in it, so the code stays closed for now.

Overview
Glitch is a small Android app I’m building to break the habit of opening apps on autopilot: every time, your apps appear in a different order.
This is a private project. I see real potential in it as a product, so the code and the technical details stay closed for now, and I don’t plan to open-source it soon.
The question
Can a phone app break autopilot tapping without permissions, lockouts or tracking?
Key features
- Apps shown in a new random order each time
- A fixed dock for up to four everyday apps
- A home-screen widget
- No permissions, no internet, no tracking
